Medication Management FAQS
💊What can I expect during a medication management session?
Your provider will check in on how you're feeling, discuss any side effects or concerns, and make medication adjustments if needed. It’s a collaborative conversation, not just a prescription refill. Your comfort, understanding, and goals are always part of the process.
🤔Will I be prescribed medication at the first appointment?
Not always. We take time to understand your full history, preferences, and goals. If medication is appropriate, we’ll explain why and how it may help. If it’s strongly recommended for your well-being, we’ll discuss that openly — but always with respect for your comfort, questions, and consent.
🖥️How do virtual appointments work?
All sessions are held online using a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You’ll receive a link before your session — just click, connect, and speak from the privacy of your own space.
🧠Do you offer therapy or just medication management?
We focus on psychiatric medication management and supportive talk therapy. We do not provide ongoing therapy, but we’re happy to coordinate care with your therapist or recommend one if needed.
💼Are your services covered by insurance?
We accept select insurance plans and can bill them directly. For clients not using insurance, we also offer private-pay options. Please contact us to confirm whether your insurance is accepted and to discuss the best payment option for you.
🔄What if I’m already taking medication but want to switch providers?
You're welcome here. We review your current treatment and build a care plan that is tailored towards your needs.
🗓️What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens—we understand! If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. No-shows or late cancellations will be subjected to a fee. Full cancellation and no-show policies will be shared when you book your appointment.

We provide care for clients of all ages located in Texas, Arizona, Michigan, and Washington.

💊Will I receive a prescription right away?
Not always. Prescribing decisions are made based on your needs, comfort level, and whether more information is needed to determine the best approach. You are always part of the decision-making process.
🤔What if I’m nervous to start medication?
That feeling is completely valid and very common. We take time to discuss all available options and ensure that you feel fully informed before making any decision.
🕒How long does the first appointment last?
Initial sessions typically range from 45 to 60 minutes.
